We here at the UMWA (United Mine Workers of America) would like to thank the Postal Service for going green. A lot more coal will now have to be mined and burned to create the electricity every day to charge the new electric vehicles.
I think “UMWA” missed the part about this video being from ten tears ago. Also- I seriously doubt the amount of electricity used by any new postal EVs is even going to be noticeable- it certainly won’t require “a lot of coal” by anyone’s standard! And since the comment above is an obvious troll, I’d also point out that while electric vehicles obviously require electricity to be generated, they still result in a 30% net reduction in emissions.
